Hi, I'm Lorna, the person behind Lorna Ailsa.

I'm a creative, a host at heart, a wife of over 20 years, and a mum of three. I've always found joy in creating spaces where people feel welcome, whether it's through a thoughtful table setting, a well-placed detail, or a moment of calm in the middle of life's chaos.

For more than ten years, I've owned a speciality event rental business, helping clients bring their celebrations to life through personal touches and attention to detail. Over the years, my love of bringing people together has grown into a passion for wedding and event planning, design and styling. I enjoy everything from bringing the different elements of an event together to creating a setting that feels personal to the people celebrating.

Alongside running my event business, I spent over 20 years working in healthcare. Balancing both taught me a great deal about organisation, adaptability and staying calm under pressure, but above all, the importance of caring for people. Those are qualities I bring to every wedding and event I work on.

I'm an introvert at heart, but when I'm with my people, or when I see someone's eyes light up because of something I've helped create, I come alive. There's something incredibly rewarding about seeing an idea come together and knowing you've played a part in making someone's occasion special.
